Obviously, he is not referring to close family or a devoted spouse here. It's the world in general like co-workers, bosses, organizations, the government, politicians, etc.

To paraphrase Jack Donovan--you have to start your world--today, not tomorrow. Tomorrow is guaranteed to no one.
